CONTENTS OF ENTRY ANALYSIS
DSS - DEEP STABILIZATION SYSTEM
What it is: This is your “inner armor.” It’s not about visible abs, but rather the coordination of the diaphragm, pelvic floor, and deep muscles along the spine.
Why we measure it: The HSS protects your back and ensures efficient power transfer between your legs and arms. If this system isn’t working, energy “leaks” through your body and your joints become overloaded. Without a strong core, you’ll never reach your maximum strength potential.
POSTURE
What it’s about: We observe how your body looks at rest and in basic positions. We look for misalignments in the pelvis, shoulders, head, or arches of the feet.
Why we measure this: Poor posture is like driving a car with misaligned wheels—sooner or later, something will “break down.” Through analysis, we identify where muscle imbalances arise that hinder your movement or cause chronic pain.
SHORTENED MUSCLE
What it’s about: We’re testing the flexibility of key muscle groups that tend to tighten up (typically the chest muscles, hip flexors, or the back of the thighs).
Why we measure this: A shortened muscle prevents the joint from moving through its full range of motion. This limits your technique (e.g., deep squats or throws) and forces your body to engage compensatory muscles that aren’t designed for that purpose. The goal is to restore your body’s freedom of movement.
BODY COORDINATION
What it’s about: The ability of your brain and muscles to work together in harmony. We’re looking at how well you can control different parts of your body in time and space.
Why we measure it: Good coordination means efficiency. The better your body is coordinated, the less energy you expend on a given movement and the faster you can react to unexpected situations. It’s the difference between “struggle” and “ease” in movement.
